Not very challenging or time consuming, but enjoyable if you have a couple of hours to spare. Lovely voice acting and some of the banter between the Snail and the Inventor did make me laugh. I suspect younger me would have struggled with some of the puzzles and even been furstrated at times but today, Chronology felt like a good use of my time.. i think the game was fun enjoyed it was short but not too short of a game i beat it pretty quick i did need some help on chapter 7 but other from that it was fun to play through would i buy it again yeah i deffinitely would would i suggest it yes i would. This is the first time I write a short review for a game here on Steam.Chronology is such a charming and high quality game. The workmanship of the developers is amazing. The graphics are top notch. If you look further, you will discover a story, smooth gameplay and a beautiful level design. The narrative in this game is the icing on the cake. This indie game shows why steam greenlight has potential, even with it's flaws.. Very cool, but short game! Great concept imo.. Chronology is a short puzzle platformer with an emphasis on short and puzzle. At times it feels more like a point and click adventure than a platformer, in fact the only time i got stuck in the game was in one of the "point and clicky parts" with the toothache plant. Despite getting stuck for 20 minutes I finished the game in just a little over an hour.The controls are fine, although they could be improved. In some of the puzzles you have to switch between the characters and use their special time manipulating abilites, it would be nice if you could control the snail and the inventor at the same time or at least use 2 different buttons for their abilites.The story is told as you solve the puzzles and is really straightforward, the game seems suitable for children.Overall it was a short but nice little experience.. A nice game with overall good puzzles thats definitely much too short for my taste. You can rush through it in about 2 hours and i think 10 bucks is a bit much for that.The graphics is really well made, especially throughout the switching worlds. The story is not bad but could have used more than only three characters. Especially with the time travel ideas i think they could have done a lot more. I can only remember one occation where it really felt you had made an impact on a person - and even felt kinda bad for it. I would have loved if they had put in more of that but the story is pretty short and doesn't have any twists or turns.So overall - nice puzzle platformer which could have done more. 3/5 good gamevery good platformer with an interesting aspect of traveling through the past and present but it change as you press the button instead of like switching world in other games with similar game mechanics. it also allows you to change the past in a lot of ways and make the game much more than run and doge.with them exspangin with more mechanics though out the game. worth the 5$the loading screens take forever tho. I suppose I have acquired this game as part of a bundle. The concept looked initriguing and I thought I'd give it a shot. I beat the game in 3 hours (and I could have managed it in far less). The art style is pretty neat (reminds me vaguely of Bastion for some reason) and the puzzles are for the most part - fun. The characters add an interesting dynamic to the game, however it would feel like the snail is merely there to assist the inventor rather than having any purpose of his own.The story is limited and does very little to explain why things turned out the way they did, or how the snail got involved, or what their motive really was... At times the controls feel a bit clunky and unconfigurable. However, my biggest issue with the game is its loading time. It's incredibly terrible. I don't see why such a short game could manage such long and dragging loading screens, and why on earth would there be a loading screen to load a cutscene?All in all, I enjoyed the game despite its flaws. I'm not entirely sure that would justify its price tag though. If you find it on sale it might be fun for the short while it lasts.. I really enjoyed this game. I would have liked a better ending but the puzzles were fun. Snail is the most useful character ever and I liked the back and forth between her and the old man :D.. fun game and slowest loading screens ever. You thought gta5 was a long wait? you thought wrong...For the buggy loading = NOFor the game = YES
